The Cycle of Investing

Welcome to our firm. My story is that I came to Idaho because my grandfather always said that Coeur d'Alene was "paradise."

History - Who We Are

After great experiences at Phillips Exeter Academy, Stanford and Cornell Law School, I was in the process of choosing where to settle down. My father was a career US Army officer from Portland, Oregon and our family had relocated 14 times. My intent was to return to the western US after school, and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho offered significant opportunities. When I related my plans to my father, he told me that my grandfather had traveled often throughout the Northwest on business, and always said that Coeur d'Alene was "paradise."

That was good enough for me to make the move to Coeur d'Alene, sight unseen. In 1992, I joined Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor and participated in opening the Coeur d'Alene office. After over 20 memorable years with Merrill Lynch, I elected to open my own investment business in 2013 through Wagstaff Financial in the LPL Financial network.

Community Involvement - How We Help

I served for over 20 years with the Kootenai Health Foundation as a board and committee volunteer, including a two year term as a board chair.  I am also actively involved in my church.

For over 25 years, I served as a member of Rotary.  In 1994, I acted as a charter member of the Sunrise Rotary Club of Coeur d'Alene and in 2000, transferred to the Rotary Club of Coeur d'Alene.  In the latter capacity, I chaired the Rotary Civic Improvements Committee. Our committee led the design and funding for the Fallen Heroes Plaza, dedicated to the Coeur d'Alene Fire and Police Departments.  The memorial is located in Cherry Hill Park, behind the fire station at the intersection of 15th Street and Interstate 90.  My spouse Anne and I live in the scenic Coeur d'Alene area and value spending time with our family.

We enjoy working hard to suggest options to our clients for their financial concerns. Welcome to our family of clients.

Best regards,

Peter
